Choir & Music Program
The music ministry at Saint Andrew’s seeks to support the worship of a vibrant, singing, and loving congregation.
The planning and execution of choral and instrumental music is overseen by organist/choirmaster Henry Evans, who follows the liturgical calendar, giving thoughtful consideration to important events in the life of the parish. From September through May, the choir provides music appropriate to the various seasons and scriptures. The choir and congregation enliven the delivery of the Gospel through the spirited singing of hymns, canticles, and psalms.
Highlights of our musical offerings include Advent Lessons and Carols, the solemn high Eucharist of Christmas Eve, and the Easter Vigil. St. Andrew’s holds special musical events for the parish and greater community, as well.
