Altar Guild
The members of the Altar Guild prepare all things necessary for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist and other services and assist with baptisms, confirmations/receptions, weddings, and funerals. This is a joyful, peace-filled ministry of dedication, requiring attention to details and a commitment that includes doing the "holy laundry." New members generally spend the first year (8-12 rotations) with the ministry coordinator and the second year with a mentor, if requested. Gifts to the Altar Guild are accepted with gratitude and help support this ministry with the purchasing of linens and other necessities. Our current Altar Guild Coordinator is Marianne Cavanaugh.
